Parents
Until recently, parents often have to play the ‘guessing game’ not knowing exactly what was wrong as their babies are unable to talk. Today however, many parents are discovering the joy of teaching their hearing babies to sign, using British Sign Language signs. This provides babies with the ability to communicate their wants, and needs at a very early age, long before they can actually say the words. This is widely known today as ‘Baby Signing.’
What are the Benefits?
Is signing just for pre-verbal babies?

About Us
We are passionate about communication in a child’s early years. We are dedicated to teaching families, educators and childcare professionals a cross the country the values of using signs (from British Sign language) to promote early communication and early literacy skills in babies and young children both hearing, deaf and disabled.
We have helped children with tongue-tie who have speech difficulties, and children with delayed speech, to communicate and express themselves , so that they do not get left behind in their learning.
Even Preverbal babies can understand and express themselves much more than was previously thought.
Building on a baby’s natural use of gestures we teach parents and educators how to use simple signs based on BSL with all of their children and you can start from early as 6 months.
If you are a parent of a Deaf child or are Deaf parents please don’t delay using signed communication. For more information see parents page.
You will be amazed at how much your child can communicate before they can speak.
